When In Your Pregnancy Did You Start Interviewing And Deciding Which Day Care To Use?

I am around 6 weeks pregnant and my sister told me I should start looking at daycares and trying to get on waiting lists. When did you start doing this during your pregnancy if you decided to use child care? I live in Raleigh, NC, does anyone have an idea about the average cost per month of child care?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I stopped breast-feeding 3 weeks ago, haven’t had my period yet. Do I start taking birth control pill now, or do I have to wait until I have 1 cycle?

Does A Normal 38 Weeks Pregnancy Start From Conception Or Implantation?

Sperm can apparently live up to 7 days inside a woman. Does a 38 week pregnancy occur anytime from these 7 days
or does a 38 week pregnancy start from implantation which happens something like 12 days after conception?
