My son is almost one and I have been seeing his doctor for over 4 months now off and on because he keeps getting a cough and cold that turns into bronchitus. I changed the sheets in his crib last night and went to flip the mattress and I found spots of black mold in the label of the mattress and when we took it apart there was mold all through it. I threw out the mattress and my son had the best night sleep he’s had in months. Does anyone know if there is anything else I need to do or have any info on the effects of mold in children?

I am taking a course in First Aid by the American Red Cross and I need to pass the test on First Aid with a 80%. My teacher said it is 15 questions and I am worried because there is a lot of information. I read the manual but I am not sure if I will remember all of it after all I can only get 4 wrong. Does any one have any tips that has already taken it? What should I focus on? Should I memorize numbers? My son was diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome at five yrs old. I have read a few things that said a poor diet can increase his problem, but that some people have had luck in diminishing tics with a gluten and casein free diet. SO, if you are on a diet like that, could you let me know what kind of foods a 12 year old could find tolerable, being that he is used to the typical American diet. Any info will be much appreciated! |
