of course it’s not wrong, in fact I know of several women that have played at the H.S. level and some have even made it to the college level.
Jack.. You have no idea what your talking about. Guess you forgot about Katie Hnida, a kicker at the University of Colorado in 1999 ,then later at the University of New Mexico. Not to mention I PERSONALLY know a girl who is playing on a college football team. There are no current D1 female players that I know of, but there are some at lower levels. The person I know plays at small DIII school.

If a girl wants to play football then they should be allowed. You dont even have to wear a cup.
Yes, it is. I’m not a sexist, but football is a man’s sport. When girls play, even in middle school, there are a whole bunch of problems that arise. The main one being sexual harassment. A boy goes in for a tackle and then the girl says that he intentionally grabbed her sexually. If girls wanted to start their own league and have it be only girls, that would be a good solution. The problem there is that there are not a lot of girls that want to play, so there aren’t enough to start a new league. In short, yes, it is wrong.
There are girls that play at the High School level for some small high schools. A girl got killed in Illinois in 02′ while attempting to play with boys. They had tried a few girls as place kickers at the college level without success.
There are no rules prohibiting girls from playing football.
If you are good enough there probably isn’t anything stopping you.
